Anabas Interiors helps Chi-X Trade Up

Bespoke design and fit out provider Anabas Interiors has secured a contract to handle the relocation of Chi-X’s office from St Katherine’s Dock to Lower Thames Street in the City of London. Anabas Interiors has designed and will deliver the new offices, in time for Chi-X to move in. 
Chi-X is a pan-European trading exchange so Anabas needed to take the exacting requirements into consideration during both the design and planning stages for the implementation of the London office move. 
Providing space planning and interior design, cost and budgeting advice, partition installation, mechanical and electrical design and installation, suspended ceilings, decorative finishes, flooring, specialist communications rooms, structured cabling and bespoke furniture and joinery; Anabas Interiors has all the expertise to integrate a fully managed programme for workplace change. 
Paul Cronin, Contract Manager for Anabas Interiors, explains the requirements for this particular project: “It is always essential to gain a full understanding of our customer’s business focus. Chi-X needed an open plan trading platform, which by its very nature requires a secure environment with efficient access control. In addition of course there is the need for private meeting rooms and office space too.” 
It was not only the security requirements and best practice of the trading industry that were important considerations for Anabas Interiors. The aesthetics and brand image of Chi-X as a company were also crucial in the office design. 
“We undertook a design workshop with the client to ensure that the offices we designed for them would meet their original vision for the new facilities.”
